Branding is tough. Branding universities is tougher. And branding cities may be the toughest assignment of all.

Heather Grantham is a senior at Cornell University who felt like her school's reputation was slipping. So she gathered a group of her fellow students to do something about it. The result was Cornell's Image Committee, and we'll find out what the committee has been able to accomplish.

Joe Perello's job is to market New York City. He is the city's first Chief Marketing Officer and to date, he has raised more than $30 million through the unique partnerships created by the agency he founded, .

We'll talk about branding with Joe Perello and Heather Grantham on the next Smart City.
