About the Show

Suzanne Muchin has been CEO of Civitas in Chicago since 1995. A graduate of Tufts University, Suzanne was a member of the Charter Corps of Teach For America. She taught junior high school Spanish and English as a second language in the South Bronx. Before coming to Civitas, she served as Teach For America's national program director.

David Beach is the Director of EcoCity Cleveland, a nonprofit organization that promotes ecological design, smart growth, and transportation choices in Northeast Ohio. David grew up in Bay Village, graduated from Harvard University in 1979, then returned to Cleveland, where he has become one of the most important and influential environmental advocates in the region.
