Michael Brill is a professor in the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Buffalo.Ê He is also president and founder of BOSTI, the Buffalo Organization for Social and Technological Innovation.Ê He is one of the founding figures in the field of environmental/behavior research and has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including five Progressive Architecture Applied Research Awards, two Industrial Design Annual Design Awards and a Senior Sabbatical Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.Ê Mike is a frequent consultant to federal, state and county governments on the use of behavioral research in design.
Randy Morton is an urban designer and architect with the New York-based firm of Cooper Robertson and Partners.Ê The firm has worked on master plans for waterfronts in Boston, Miami, Kansas City and Memphis.Ê Cooper Robertson developed the original plans for Battery Park City, once in the shadow of the World Trade Center, and is now working on rebuilding the site.
