About the Show

Otis White is president of Civic Strategies, Inc. He is one of America's top community leadership analysts, having studied business, political and civic leadership networks from Boston to Los Angeles, San Jose to Charlotte.

He is editor of the Civic Strategies E-Letter, a twice-monthly digest of civic news and trends from around the country, and contributor to magazines and newspapers about leadership trends. He also lectures frequently on the subject.

Before becoming a consultant, Otis was a business journalist and magazine executive. He is a resident of Atlanta.

Richard C. Harwood is founder and president of The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation, a nonprofit institution whose mission is to be a catalyst for charting a different course for America's public life and politics.
