Kent Larson is director of House_N: The MIT House of the Future. It is an alliance with 15 major corporations and institutions to reconsider how we design, build and incorporate technologies into the places we live.
He heads Kent Larson Architects PC in New York, selected by Architectural Digest as one of the top 100 architects for residential design. Since 1990, Kent has written for many publications on the use of advanced digital tools for architectural design and inquiry. And his book, ÒLouis Kahn: Unbuilt Masterworks,Ó was selected as one of the Ten Best Books in Architecture in 2000 by the NY Times Book Review.
Christine Saum is the Executive Director of the MayorÕs Institute on City Design. It is a project of the National Endowment for the Arts and the U.S. Conference of Mayors and administered by the American Architectural Foundation. The Mayors' Institute on City Design is dedicated to improving the design and livability of America's cities through the efforts of their chief elected leaders, their mayors.
