About the Show

Neha Bhatt is the Conservation Organizer for the Sierra Club's National Challenge to Sprawl Campaign. Along with smart growth activists around the country, she conducts research on various sprawl-related topics. Previously for the Sierra Club, she was a field grassroots organizer for more efficient transportation and land use planning in the Metro DC area. Both public education campaigns focused on the role transportation plays in inducing or curbing sprawl and how different kinds of transportation impact the community.

Andy Kunz is a leading proponent of rail transportation and New Urbanism in America. He has written for, and been quoted in numerous national publications on transportation issues, rail transportation, transit oriented design, and New Urbanism. He is a national award-winning designer, and a graduate of the Master's program in Town Planning at the University of Miami School of Architecture. Prior to that he studied at the Prince of Wales's Instutute of Architecture in London. He is director of NewUrbanism.org and operates several websites promoting rail transportation and livable communities.
